The Space Between

Creative work by Art Bias Board Members 

Behind the scenes of any thriving art community is a hive of worker bees tending to the details of business, public perception, and effective functionality. The intensity of this work is amplified when the worker bees are volunteers who are creatives in their own right. They know the terrain towards artistic sustainability is difficult and make personal sacrifices by volunteering for the specific, yet collective cause. Directors bring their experience, skills, and vision to the table. Their insights shape the community on many, not so obvious levels; and the diversity of their backgrounds enriches the community while opening it up to new possibilities. This exhibition celebrates Art Bias Directors and bridges that invisible space between their giving and their making.
